SPR-249 is an Ultra-miniature Pressure Catheter (2.2F Nylon) with a single 3F pressure sensor  mounted on the side of the tip. It is suitable for for use in rats and rabbits.The catheter has a straight tip and a body which is narrower than the tip, conferring flexibility and minimizing obstruction of vessels or valves. The effective length at 2.2F is 140 cm. It uses a Viking connector, and therefore a TC-510-C-MK Catheter Cable is required for connecting the catheter to the bridge amplifier from emkaTECHNOLOGIES.

The catheter is reusable and repairable.
