analog amplifier
analog amplifier

emka TECHNOLOGIES analog amplifier is available for several applications:

1-channel amplifier board for strain-gauge transducers

  • • stable 5 V or 10 V current delivery to transducer gauge bridge
  • • signal input in differential mode with common mode rejection
  • • high input impedance (~3.109 ƒÇ) prevents transducer loading
  • • low-pass filter at 500Hz, 35 Hz, 10 Hz, 0.1 Hz.
  • • high-pass filter at 0.075Hz, 0.25Hz, 1Hz or none
  • • two levels of balance tuning: coarse tuning, fine tuning through multirevolution potentiometer
  • • external gain setting from x 1 to x 5 (or x 50 to x 250)
  • • front face gain multiplication through preset switch (x 1, x 2, x 5, x 10, x 20, x 50, x 100, x 200, x500, x 1000)
  • • output to analog/digital converter (0 to 10 V or +/- 5V) for connection to computer system (emka TECHNOLOGIES product or other)
  • • AC/DC switch to allow suppression of constant signal component

amplifier board for ecg

3 models are available, and can be used either for in vitro or in vivo ecg measurements in all animals:

• amplifier card for 1-lead ecg

amplifier card for 6 standard leads:
Amplifies the bipolar limb leads (L1, L2, L3) and calculates and amplifies the three unipolar limb      leads (aVF, aVR, aVL).

   - Inputs: reference, L1, L2, L3
   - Outputs: L1, L2, L3, aVF, aVR, aVL.

  amplifier board for 6-chest-leads:
Simultaneously amplify 6 unipolar intercostal leads (V1-V6).
To do this, an amplifier board for 6 standard ecg leads must be present in the same amplifier.  It calculates the reference point as the center of the RA, RL and LL potential electrodes (using the  Einthoven triangular method).

main characteristics:

• isolated inputs and amplifier (high electrical protection)
• internal gain of 1000
• external settings of the gain: 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4
• signal input as monopolar or bipolar derivations
• external settings of the low-pass filter: 35 Hz, 100 Hz, 200 Hz, 500 Hz.
• external settings of the high-pass filter: 0.05, 0.2, 0.5, 1 Hz.
• 50 Hz (or 60 Hz) rejector filter
• output of 1 mV for calibration

For on-site calibration of this ecg amplifier board, we offer an ecg calibrator device.

amplifier mainframe with power supply:

Mainframe and power supply fitted with different amplifier boards (modules).

glp-compliant amplifier card for ecg leads

The glp-compliant amplifier is the ideal choice for ecg toxicology studies in a glp environment.

2 models are available:

• amplifier card for 6 standard ecg leads
It is used to amplify the three bipolar leads (LI, LII, LIII) and to calculate the three associated unipolar ecg leads (aVF, aVR, aVL). In addition, it can be used for calibration (0mV or 1mV signal).

• amplifier card for 6 precordial ecg leads
It is used to amplify 6 unipolar intercostal leads (V1-V6).  In addition, the card can be used for calibration (0 mV or 1 mV signal).

The amplifier mainframe for glp studies must also be fitted with the glp-compliant amplifier card for 6 standard ecg leads, which calculates the reference point.

To facilitate glp compliance, the card itself has no connectors or user accessible settings - only a switch for selecting the mode (calibration or measurement).

main characteristics:

• isolated inputs and amplifier (high electrical protection)
• internal gain of 1000
• output of 0 mV or 1 mV for calibration

amplifier board for microphone

Amplifier card for cough detection using sound microphone.

It is used for pulmonary studies on rodents with unrestrained plesthymographs.
